Happy Goat Coffee Company: Cozy Gatineau Spot for Artful Coffee, Fresh Food & Friendly Vibes

I recently visited the new Happy Goat in Gatineau and I was really impressed! The atmosphere is warm and inviting, with a cozy yet modern vibe that makes it perfect for relaxing or catching up with friends. The coffee was excellent — beautifully crafted with latte art that shows real attention to detail and quality. The food was equally amazing; I tried the burrito, and it was delicious, fresh, and presented so nicely. You can tell they really care about both taste and presentation. The staff were friendly and welcoming, making the whole experience even better. It’s definitely a new go-to spot in Gatineau for great coffee, tasty food, and a relaxing ambiance. Highly recommend!

Invited a few friends for after work drinks. Unfortunately the charcuterie boards are not currently available but the figs and prosciutto pizza was delicious. The espresso martini was deliciously smooth. As they open about a month ago, the staff is still learning the menu - worth the wait. Their donuts are huge!

Always an amazing experience here! The staff are so friendly, the menu is amazing (their rotating donuts and chocolate croissants are a must try!) Family run business in the charming Quartier du musée, really brings the vibe to Old Hull. Their patio is also filled with character and charm. I visit almost every day for my cup of Java! Chicken is also Halal if you're looking for Halal options in the area :)

A perfect start to my day at Happy Goat Coffee! Happy Goat has become a special part of my morning routine. The atmosphere is always warm and welcoming, the staff are kind and genuine, and the coffee is absolutely delicious. Their homemade donuts are the perfect treat — fresh, soft, and made with love. It’s a place that instantly lifts my mood and brings joy to my day. Thank you to the Happy Goat team for creating such a cozy and happy space to start the morning!

One of my favorite Happy Goat locations! There’s lots of indoor seating and a spacious patio. They also serve food. The street is calm and peaceful, a nice escape from the city’s busy vibe.

Happy Goat Coffee... A chain on one hand, but a unique and cozy Québécois experience on the other. As an Anglo-Québécois who has lived in Hull for the past year, I cannot express how much I've enjoyed living in this area. However, the one thing we were always missing was access to a dedicated café on our side of the river. This Happy Goat location offers a variety of delicious snacks and meals, excellent customer service (service in French and English, but practice your French first!), and plenty of seating with plugs if you decide to sit inside or outside. Whether you're visiting with family, using HGCC as a dedicated workspace, or enjoying a quiet cappuccino on the terrace, you'll be sure to be warmly greeted and sippin' on a variety of beverages -- including cocktails and/or beer from 0700 until 2100 in the evening. Don't hesitate to check this beautiful café out; the building alone is worth a tour. Bonne journée!

I stopped by Maison du Café- Happy Goat and tried a coffee with cinnamon and maple syrup and wow, it was the perfect balance of warmth and sweetness. A comforting blend that felt like autumn in a cup! The café itself has a great setup inside, it’s welcoming and relaxed, with a rustic charm and plenty of seating. Outside, the patio is lovely, ideal for enjoying your drink on a sunny day or catching up with friends. Whether you're a coffee lover or just looking for a cozy spot to unwind, Happy Goat is definitely worth a visit.
